For about 20 pieces
- 160 g MAWOO maple sugar
- 4 egg whites
- 50 g flour
- 100 g almond powder
- 50 g MAWOO maple syrup
- 160 g melted butter
- 2 tbsp maple sugar or small MAWOO maple nuggets
In a bowl, mix maple sugar and egg whites. Add flour, almond powder and maple syrup until smooth, then add melted butter. Pour the mixture into mini financier moulds and leave to rest for 2 hours in the fridge.
Bake at 200°C for about 30 minutes.
Sprinkle maple sugar or nuggets on the mini financiers 5 minutes before the end of the cooking and put them back in the oven.
