Maple Blondies

- 250 g ( 1 1/3 cup) maple sugar

- 110 g (1/2 cup) butter, melted, browned and cooled*

- 120 ml (1/2 cup) maple syrup

- 2 eggs

- 200 g (1 1/2 cups) flour

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1/2 tsp baking powder

- Maple butter for glaze

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Mix maple sugar, browned butter, maple syrup and eggs. Slowly mix in flour, salt and baking powder until combined. Add batter to prepared baking pan with parchment paper (I used a 22cm x 22cm pan, also I dare you to not eat any batter). Bake for 30-40 min or until toothpick comes out clean. Glaze with maple butter.
