Cherry Clafoutis

- 60 g maple sugar

- 4 eggs

- 2 dl milk

- 40 g melted butter

- 60 g ground almonds

- 100 g flour

- 1 tsp. baking powder

- 1 pinch of salt

- 600 g of sour cherries*

Preheat oven to 220°C.

Beat eggs with maple sugar, milk and melted butter. Add ground almonds and mix. Add flour, baking powder and pinch of salt, mix. Pour into a buttered round gratin dish, add cherries. Bake in the lower part of the oven for about 45 min. or until the middle is cooked through.

Frozen cherries can also be used, in which case the baking time should be extended.

Serve with maple syrup and yogurt or ice cream!

* The cherries don't need to be pitted, it gives a nice little taste to the clafoutis. Just warn your guests!
