- 2 tbsp maple sugar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- about 600g of tomatoes, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- thyme
- 1 round puff pastry dough
- 100g feta, in small pieces
- fresh basil
Oil a round baking pan (about 26cm in diameter) and spread the maple sugar on it. Arrange the tomato slices on the maple sugar, sprinkle with garlic and thyme. Place the puff pastry on top and tuck the edges into the pan. Make holes with a fork. Bake about 30-35 min in the bottom half of the oven preheated at 230°C. Take out and let sit for a few min. Flip onto a cake plate, add feta and basil leaves on top of the tomatoes.
