Ginger & Maple Marinade
- 100 mL maple syrup
- 80 mL soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tbsp. fresh ginger, grated
Combine ingredients in a small saucepan, bring to a boil and let boil on low heat for 5 minutes. Let cool.
Skewers
- 1 package of 175 g planted chicken (for 2 people - take 2 packages for 4 people)
- 1 small yellow or green zucchini
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
Cut the zucchini and bell pepper into pieces. Place the planted chicken and vegetables in a dish, pour in the marinade and marinate for 30 minutes or more.
Assemble the skewers, alternating the vegetables and planted chicken. Save the marinade. Place the skewers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10 minutes. Remove skewers from oven, brush with marinade, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes. Reheat the remaining marinade and serve on rice.
